What we collect

• Property details — address, postcode, roof and property information, current energy use, and details of the system you are interested in.
• Enquiry content — messages, quote answers, survey notes, call and email correspondence with our team.
• Appointment details — the date, time and location of any survey you book with us.
• Technical data — basic information your browser sends, such as IP address and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and working.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote or proposal.
• To arrange, confirm and follow up surveys and installations.
• To provide aftercare, warranty and service support.
• To send follow-up messages about your enquiry by email, SMS or phone.
• To meet legal, accreditation and record-keeping obligations (for example MCS and finance requirements).

We rely on your consent where you have asked us to contact you, on the performance of a contract where you proceed with an installation, on legitimate interests for following up on an enquiry you made, and on legal obligation where record-keeping is required of us.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only where needed to deliver what you have asked for. That can include our design and proposal software, email and SMS delivery providers, calendar and scheduling tools, our installation teams and subcontractors, and — only if you apply for finance — our finance partner. Where finance is involved, Alliant Energy Ltd is an Introducer Appointed Representative of Phoenix Financial Consultants Limited. We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return. Where you become a customer, we keep installation, warranty, accreditation and financial records for as long as required for guarantees, accreditation schemes and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete data we no longer need to hold.

Security

Access to customer records is restricted to staff who need it, protected by individual accounts, and held in hosted systems that encrypt data in transit. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, so we keep the data we collect to what we actually need.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technology to keep the site working, remember your progress through forms, and understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then not work as intended.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to ask for deletion, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent to marketing at any time.
